Inmood Prancer Pod Kit

The Inmood Prancer is a compact mouth-to-lung pod kit with rather more control than its size suggests. Inside an aluminium alloy body measuring 65 x 48 x 13mm there is a 950mAh battery, a variable wattage circuit adjustable from 5W to 30W, and a small 0.63-inch OLED screen showing what the device is doing. The exterior is plain — an embossed logo and nothing else.

Two coils are supplied with the kit, and having both in the box is the most useful thing about it. The 1.0ohm coil gives a tighter, more restricted draw suited to higher-strength salt nicotine at the lower end of the wattage range; the 0.6ohm coil opens the draw up and produces more vapour, and pairs better with lower-strength liquid at 15W and above. Being able to try both without buying anything extra is unusual at this size.

The pod holds 2ml, is removable, fixes magnetically and fills from the top, so there is no fiddling with plugs on the underside. Airflow is set by a rotary ring at the top of the device rather than by swapping pods, which means you can fine-tune the draw independently of coil choice — the practical reason to choose a kit like this over a simple closed pod. Charging is over Type-C, with the cable included.
