The body is PCTG rather than a cheaper plastic, which matters in practice: PCTG resists the citrus, cinnamon and aniseed flavourings that crack or cloud lesser plastics over time, so the pod stays clear and does not develop stress lines around the fill port. Filling is from the side, which is quicker than a bottom-fill pod and means you do not have to remove and invert the pod to top it up. The pod supports both direct and indirect inhalation, so the same shell covers a restricted mouth-to-lung draw and an open direct-to-lung one depending on the coil you fit. That is worth noting because the pod ships empty and without a coil: you will need coils separately, and the draw style you get is determined by which coil you install rather than by the pod. Buying pods in a two-pack is also the practical way to run two flavours at once without decanting or rinsing between them.
