Uwell Caliburn G/KOKO PRIME Replacement Coils (4pcs/pack)

These are the press-fit replacement coils shared by the Uwell Caliburn G and the KOKO Prime, sold four to a pack. They push into the pod rather than screwing in, which makes changing one a few seconds' job, but also means the coil must be seated squarely: a coil that is not fully home is the usual cause of leaking from the base and of a device that reads no atomiser.

The two coils the pair was designed around are the 0.8 ohm mesh, which is the Caliburn G coil, and the 1.0 ohm, which is the KOKO Prime coil. As a general rule across this family, the higher the resistance the tighter, cooler and more economical the vape, and the better suited it is to higher-strength salt liquid; the lower the resistance the warmer the vapour and the more of it per puff, which calls for a lower nicotine strength to stay comfortable. Whichever you fit, prime it before use: put two or three drops of liquid directly onto the exposed cotton, fill the pod, and leave it standing for five minutes. Press-fit mesh coils have very little cotton to work with and a dry first puff will ruin one immediately rather than shortening its life gradually.
