The SMOK PROPOD is a mouth-to-lung pod system running up to 22W from an 800mAh battery, paired with a 2ml Novo 2X pod at 0.8Ω. It is designed for one job rather than several: a tight, cigarette-like draw with a modest amount of vapour, which is what most people switching from smoking actually want.

The 0.8Ω Novo 2X pod is the detail that decides how it behaves. That resistance at around 20W gives a warm but restricted draw, which works well with 50/50 liquids and nicotine salts and poorly with thick high-VG juice, so match your bottle to the device rather than the other way round. Using the Novo 2X pod also means replacements are easy to find, since it is one of SMOK's more widely stocked pod formats rather than a proprietary part unique to this kit.

The 800mAh battery is generous for a device of this size and at MTL power levels should comfortably see out a full day of moderate use. Against a larger pod mod you give up adjustable wattage and airflow, but you also give up the fiddling: there is nothing to set and nothing to get wrong.
