Mega Mango Peach Ice puts two soft, sweet stone-adjacent fruits together and chills them. Ripe mango provides the weight and the thick, almost syrupy body; peach sits alongside it as a lighter, more fragrant fruit; menthol runs underneath both.

The pairing works because mango and peach fail in the same way and the ice corrects for both. Each is low in acidity, so a bottle of either on its own tends to taste heavy by the end of a pod, and putting two sweet fruits together would ordinarily make that worse rather than better. The coolant is what rescues it, and the amount used here is judged so that the fruit still leads and the cold follows, rather than the other way round.
