Ehpro Cold Steel 100 120W TC Box MOD

The Ehpro Cold Steel 100 is a single-cell regulated box mod rated to 120W, co-designed with the reviewer AmbitionZ VapeR. It is built from stainless steel, brass and zinc alloy, and at 39 x 27.5 x 91.5mm it is compact for a device that takes a 21700 cell. The styling borrows from mechanical mods, but the electronics behind it are a full temperature-control chipset.

The specification worth understanding is the working-mode list. Power mode is the default; temperature control protects a coil from firing dry; curve lets you set wattage across the length of a draw; voltage mode works in volts rather than watts; and bypass makes the regulated mod behave like an unregulated one, with output falling as the cell drains. Few mods at this size offer all five, and bypass in particular is what makes this a reasonable bridge for someone curious about mech mods but unwilling to give up protection circuitry. The 0.05 to 3.0ohm resistance range covers everything from a low sub-ohm build to a high-resistance mouth-to-lung coil, and the 0.0018 second firing speed means no perceptible lag on the button. Charging and firmware updates both run over the micro-USB port. It takes a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 cell using the included adapter; no battery is supplied.
