Croissant by Cafe Racer is a layered pastry liquid: buttery, flaky dough with almond cream through the middle, dark Belgian chocolate and a dusting of icing sugar over the top. It is one of the more complex bakery blends in the range, and the almond is what separates it from the many generic chocolate-pastry juices it sits alongside.

Layered desserts like this work best on a coil that is not being pushed hard. At moderate wattage the four components stay distinguishable — dough on the inhale, almond and chocolate through the middle, sugar on the exhale. Turn the power up and the chocolate flattens into a generic sweetness and the pastry note disappears first, which is the usual complaint people have with bakery liquids they have run too hot. If you are the sort of vaper who leaves the wattage at the top of the coil's range, this is not the bottle to do it with.
