An alien build wraps an outer decorative wire around a core of several strands, which gives the coil a much larger surface area than a simple round wire of the same resistance. More surface area means more liquid is vaporised at once, so alien coils are chosen for vapour volume and flavour intensity rather than efficiency.

The 0.19 ohm rating is the figure that decides whether these are for you. That is a low resistance, which draws a lot of current and demands a regulated mod with the output to match or a mechanical setup with a battery rated for the amperage. They are intended for rebuildable atomisers, so you will need to install and wick them yourself and check the resistance on your device before firing. At this resistance they run warm and drain a battery quickly, which is the trade for the vapour they produce. If you are building for flavour at moderate power, a higher resistance coil is the more sensible choice; if you are building an RDA for cloud production, this is the right end of the range.
